South Korean singer-actor Seo In Guk and Filipino young star Francine Diaz appear in Metro’s exclusive moving cover as they drop their music collaboration “My Love.”

In Metro.Style’s cover story featuring the two artists, they revealed details about how their music project came to fruition, even when it seemed unlikely to happen at first.

Francine shared, “Hindi ko masyado in-expect na mapu-push through itong collaboration kasi sabi ko, hindi kaya sobrang laking step for me? And as an actress na acting lang talaga ako, biglang papasok ng singing. But ’yun, ’yung sinabi nila sa akin na tuloy and he really wanted to do it with me, of course, nagulat ako and hanggang ngayon, I’m still on cloud nine.”

The song “My Love” was originally part of In Guk’s previously released album. The Hallyu star said, “This song is actually from my previously released album. It’s a solo song that features a rap portion. This time, as I worked with Francine, I had a great time during the process of turning it into a male-female duet song.”

Francine described the reimagined version as full of energy and love. “’Yung kanta na ito, nakaka-happy siya. Nakaka-boost ng energy and may love ka talagang mafi-feel ’pag narining mo siya,” she said.

They also talked about their recording experience in South Korea last December where Francine brought a lot of good vibes according to In Guk. “She always met me, welcomed me with this bright energy. That made me feel really great,” he recalled.

After an intense battle, Jennifer Condous snagged the crown for Miss Little Earth Australia, while Eisha Joy Hobson and Candice Tarrant claimed the titles of Miss Junior Earth Australia and Miss Teen Earth Australia, respectively. 🌏

The event was attended by no less than GMA Network Chairman Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, President and Chief Executive Officer Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong, Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group, and President of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, and Sparkle GMA Artist Center’s Vice President Joy Marcelo.
 
Also present were GMA Network’s Senior Vice President for Integrated News, Regional TV, and Synergy Oliver B. Amoroso, Vice President for Business Development Department III Gigi Santiago-Lara, Vice President for Business Development Department II Janine Piad-Nacar, Assistant Vice President for Business Development Department II Enri T. Yalong was grateful as Julie Anne continues to stay with GMA, “I would like to extend my thank you to Julie Anne for again trusting GMA Network and Sparkle to continue to manage your career. I’ve seen how Julie Anne grew from a kid to a singer and an actress. No doubt and I think no one can contest that she is also the premiere singing talent of GMA Network.”
 
Atty. Gozon-Valdes, in turn, recognized Julie Anne’s growth and dedication to her craft. “We’ve seen you blossom and grow into the person you are now and talagang limitless ka. Not only with your talent but with who you are, and we can’t wait to see what else you can achieve.”
