Sydney’s Best Dressed 2024 took place last Sunday at 5 PM at the prestigious five-star venue Sir Stamford Plaza in Mascot. The event was hosted by the esteemed beauty queens Sheridan Mortlock, Miss Earth Air 2022, and Nikka Marcial, Mrs Universe Official 2023.
Founded by Maryrose Salubre, CEO of MS Entertainment Network, Sydney’s Best Dressed is produced by MS Entertainment Network and honours distinguished men and women for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the fashion industry. Each year, stylish individuals are celebrated and given the opportunity to strut their stuff on the runway. Over the years, the event has expanded to include a variety of categories, culminating in the annual Sydney’s Best Dressed Gala Awards Night.
This year’s awardees included Chloe Lofthouse, Maria Hall, Serena Peralta, Analieze Bella Newtown, and Ceres Ledesma, all recognised as SBD Legends for their remarkable contributions to fashion. Shahieda Idris, Rhodora Williams, and Elaine Mortel were inducted into the SBD Hall of Fame, acknowledging their long-standing influence and exceptional achievements.
Special awards were also given to Anne Pearl Marie Nicklin, who received the Graceful Trendsetter Award, and Adele Kelly, honoured with the Classic Elegance Award. Prima West was celebrated with the Golden Age Glamour Award, while Lulu Jones took home the Bold Fashionista Award. Eiselle Grace was named Distinguished Fashion Maven, and Mathel Santos was recognised as the Fresh Face of Fashion. Indira Setia Putri received the Timeless Elegance Award, and Jan Herdman was celebrated as the Ageless Fashionista. Eliza Greenwood was acknowledged as the Rising Star in Fashion, with Rosita Miceli earning the Up-and-Coming Fashionista Award. Yanxia Chen was awarded the Diamond Fashionista Award, and Shirley Pulido Mejia was named Best Dressed Trendsetter.
The event showcased the best of fashion, recognising those who have made significant contributions to the industry and spotlighting emerging talents. Maryrose Salubre’s vision to celebrate fashion excellence continues to thrive, with this year’s event further cementing its status as a highlight of Sydney’s social calendar.
