The stage was set, the contestants were ready, and the anticipation was palpable. The night of September 9, 2023, Miss Earth Australia 2023, finally came to life, and it was a spectacle that left everyone in awe.

A Night to Remember

With 11 exceptional finalists from diverse backgrounds, this year’s Miss Earth Australia was nothing short of extraordinary. The finalists—Kritika Sharma, Patricia Sheeran, Deborah Madriaga, Puja Nagaria, Sonia Kekatos, Luna Ojacastro, Kajol Chand, Sarah Tute, Helen Latukefu, Taylor Kuchel, and Katelyn Storey—each brought their unique charm and charisma to the stage.

The event was divided into four segments, each designed to showcase the contestants’ beauty, intelligence, and commitment to the environment. The Swimwear round, sponsored by Styelle Swim, highlighted their poise and confidence. The Evening Gown round was a display of elegance and grace. However, it was the Environmental Hashtag round that truly stood out, where each finalist selected a hashtag and provided a thoughtful environmental explanation, emphasizing the pageant’s dedication to eco-consciousness.

Recognizing Excellence

In addition to the main competition, several sponsors’ awards were presented, recognizing the outstanding qualities of the contestants. Taylor Kuchel received the prestigious StarCentral’s Choice award, while Helen Latukefu was honoured with the Miss Millionaires Alliance title. Luna Ojacastro earned the Miss Philippine Airlines award, showcasing her exceptional charm. Helen Latukefu’s prowess in the Swimwear round earned her the title of Best in Swimwear, while Patricia Sheeran was crowned Miss Photogenic. Deborah Madriaga’s grace in the Evening Gown round earned her the title of Best in Evening Gown, and Taylor Kuchel was awarded the title of Miss Congeniality. Kritika Sharma’s exceptional talent shone through as she was named Miss Talent, and Luna Ojacastro won the hearts of the audience, securing the People’s Choice Award.
